Abstrakt
Dobrá toaleta dýchacích ciest je nevyhnutná pre správnu ventiláciu pľúc. V klinickej praxi sú jej poruchy časté, vyžaduje preto kontinuálne hodnotenie a úpravy všeobecne známymi spôsobmi, napr. odsávanie, rehabilitácia, ku ktorým patrí aj použitie mechanického asistenta kašľa. Jeho použitie u detí potrebuje individuálne nastavenie prístroja vzhľadom na rôzne hodnoty pľúcnych funkcií (napr. vitálna kapacita) pre jednotlivé vekové skupiny.

V práci  chronologicky uvádzame, ktoré parametre je nutné pri nastavovaní prístroja individuálne prepočítať na hmotnosť dieťaťa a ktoré parametre je nutné  pri použití prístroja sledovať, aby nedošlo k barotraume. Čím je dieťa mladšie, tým viac musíme dbať na presné nastavenie prístroja, aby jeho použitie bolo bezpečné a prispelo k úprave priechodnosti dýchacích ciest (tab. 9, obr. 2, lit. 9).  Text v PDF www.lekarskyobzor.sk.

The mechanical cough assistant in children

Abstract
Setting up and using a mechanical cough assistant in pediatric patients. In this work, we try to draw attention to the need for individual adjustment of the regimen in children, which results from the indications and contraindications of the device and physiological values of lung function, vital capacity of the lungs for individual age groups. As the appliance is indicated for children from 3 months of age, it is not possible to use the general setting for children of all ages. In this work we try to describe chronologically clearly which parameters must be individually recalculated to the weight of the child when setting up the device and which parameters must be monitored when using the device to avoid barotrauma. The younger the child, the more we have to pay attention to the settings of the device so that its use is safe for all patients (Tab. 9, Fig. 2, Ref. 9).  Text in PDF www.lekarskyobzor.sk.
