SUMMARY
To the tradition methods assessing patients with chronic heart failure in the era of evidence based medicine belong now also studies with biomarkers. Except of traditional biomarkers, as natriuretic peptides the whole spectrum of other biomarkers are often included in the manage-ment algorhythms among these patients. The presented overview brings current and possible perspective biomarkers for the near future of cardiological practice.
