SUMMARY
Introduction: The assessment of the health awareness and behaviour of the population in relation to eating habits is one of the important indicators of quality of life.
Methods: The research group consisted of a total of 11,196 respondents. In 2013, the group consisted of 3,679 respondents (32.9%) of which 1,840 were men (50%) and 1,839 were women (50%). In 2016, there were 3,773 respondents (33.7%), 1,872 men (49.6%) and 1,901 women (50.4%). In 2019, there were 3,744 respondents (33.4%) with 1,866 (49.8%) men and 1,878 women (50.2%).


Results: The survey shows that in 2019 the consumption of pork increased as well as consumption of beef. The daily consumption of poultry is increasing especially in women. The share of respondents has been increasing slightly regarding the consumption of cheese and yoghurt since 2013, and the consumption of eggs has also been increasing. Consumption of raw vegetables has been increasing.
Conclusion: The results of the survey indicate many positive changes in the eating habits of the adult population.
