SUMMARY
According the evidence based medicine there appears an importance of individualized diagnostic and therapeutic approach, approach of biomarkers are of great interest. Significance of this approach means the standardisation of biomarkers leading to the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with the heart failure. In the pathophysiology of the progression of disease to the complex syndrome of chronic heart failure many factors are involved. Sequence of connecting pathophysiologic pathways in myocardium processes of inflammation, oxidative stress, neurohumoral activation, and heart and vessels remodellation together with comorbidities are involved with endpoints to cardiomethabolic, or cardiorenal syndromes. Present overview brings the value of biomarkers in the sequence of heart failure pathways.
Key words: cardiovascular diseases, heart failure, biomarkers.
