Abstract
Anorexia nervosa is one of the serious eating disorders. It is a psychosomatic disease with potentially fatal consequences which can affect the entire organism.

One of the pillars of treatment of anorexia nervosa, as well as the prevention and management of its complications, is properly guided nutritional support, which should be individualized based on the nature and extent of organ damage, subtype, stage and duration of the disease.
The authors demonstrate the case of a patient with anorexia nervosa and the pitfalls of her nutritional management from the point of view of current recommendations (Fig. 3, Ref. 38). Text in PDF www.lekarsky.herba.sk.
