Abstrakt
V súčasnosti predstavuje diabezita jednu z najčastejších komorbidít v klinickej praxi takmer vo všetkých krajinách vo svete. Problematika definície metabolicky zdravej obezity a určenie jej prognózy je stále diskutovaná, naposledy počas tzv. týždňa obezity v Atlante. Panely expertov rozoberali problematiku patofyziologických a klinických aspektov, ako aj problémy v jej nomenklatúre.

Pred časom sme v prehľadnej práci rozobrali kontext možností zmeny paradigmy obezity z klinického a prognostického hľadiska. Odvtedy bol zistených viacero nových poznatkov a nové návrhy na definovanie nomenklatúry (lit. 27). Text v PDF www.lekarskyobzor.sk.

Preclinical Obesity and the View on the Metabolically Healthy Obesity

Abstract
Diabesity currently represents one of the most prevalent comorbidities in the majority of the countries all of the world. Problems in the definition of metabolically healthy obesity and its prognosis are still being disscussed, recently in Atlanta during the Week of obesity. A panel of experts discussed their pathophysiological and clinical aspects, as well as problems in nomenclature. In our previous review we discussed the possible change in paradigm from the clinical and prognostic perspectives. New results from recent studies have been published together with a proposed definition in the nomenclature (Ref. 27). Text in PDF www.lekarskyobzor.sk.
