SUMMARY
Oncological diseases are still among the most common causes of both morbidity and mortality. Slovakia also found itself at the foremselves in the incidence of colorectal cancer.

Among the causes are not only environmental factors, but also genetic predisposition. Attention should be paid to the etiopathogenesis of the tumor process, knowledge of which would contribute to the prevention and treatment of cancer diseases. An important factor appears to be the so-called superinformation system, which, especially in conditions of chronic stress, can initiate a number of changes, especially at the level of the immune system, which facilitate the development and development of oncological disease.
