Abstrakt
V liečbe artériovej hypertenzie priame inhibítory renínu si svoje pevné miesto nenašli. V poslednom období sa však sľubnou možnosťou liečby ukazujú inhibítory syntézy aldosterónu. Poukazujú na to iba nedávno publikované prvé výsledky štúdie BaxHTN.
Významným problémom liečby artériovej hypertenzie v súčasnosti je nekontrolovaná hypertenzia a rezistentná hypertenzia. Prvé výsledky liečby v týchto skupinách pacientov s baxdrostatom ukazujú, že v klinickej praxi je možný aj úplne iný spôsob farmakoterapie. Blízka budúcnosť ukáže, ktorí pacienti budú mať najlepší benefit pri liečbe novou skupinou liečby – inhibítormi syntézy aldosterónu, ktorá môže viesť k lepšej kontrole antihypertenzívnej liečby (lit. 10).

Aldosterone synthase inhibition as a new possibility in hypertension treatment
Abstrakt
Direct renin inhibitors have not yet established their definitive role in the treatment of patients with arterial hypertension. Recently, the potential value of therapy with aldosterone synthase inhibitors has been demonstrated by the BaxHTN study. Therapeutic problems among patients with uncontrolled hypertension and resistant hypertension are already persistent. It may be assumed that in such cases, another therapeutic option may exist. The near future will reveal which patients will benefit the most from this new pharmacotherapeutic antihypertensive strategy (Ref. 10). Text in PDF www.lekarsky.herba.sk.
